I pulled #13 several times in preparing for this reading so it was just meant to be.  This card can sometimes brings fear, but let me first dispell the fear…This card does not bring death, it brings important and great changes in your life.  I also thought it appropriate to pull 2 cards to show what influences the changes that will come.  The Death Card #13 does not bring death, but comes marking great changes!  It marks the end of something in our lives and the beginning of another phase.  The pairing card is the #2, The High Priestess, bringing powerful feminine and spiritual energy to the changes to come.  She denotes knowledge, some known and some unknown, the forces between this world and the next as she sits before the veil of unknowing filled with pomegrantes also signifying Rebirth!  Sometimes we fear what we don’t yet know or understand, but the changes that are marked in #13 also show that the spiritual changes to come bring forth changes for the better and good things to come as denoted in the rider carrying a flag with a white flower of inspiration and spiritual enlightenment and riding in on a white horse of divine power.  Everything you knew, your beliefs and old thoughts will be changed by the knowledge and power you will acquire this year, bringing more happiness and contentment, with purity and clarity of thought.

This coming year 2011 will be marked by much healing energy and a spiritual awakening for all of us.  We will find enlightenment in stages brought forth by our own efforts and on our own terms.  (The Lunar Eclipse, Winter Solstice and Mercury retrograde all passing in December heralds the fact that changes are all coming for our highest good.  In December, divine energies raised our vibrations to rid ourselves of things that no longer serve us in our lives.)  This January brings in the much needed changes that we all require to live a full and happier life, awake and aware.  Changes in our nature, changes in our understanding and love for one another, changes in how we act and feel about ourselves and the world around us.  A more positive attitude, compassion toward one another, acceptance and grace will be our gifts this year. 

As the High Priestess shows us her power in the moon as denoted on her crown as well as her gown covering the crescent moon; her feminine energies are very strong as she sits between the pillars of knowing and unknowing and she brings us her power to define ourselves in a way that we never could before.  The Tora is half hidden also meaning that All may not be revealed as yet, but that we are all still learning the mysteries of life in our own way and with our own style.

As the knight brings forth changes, the high priestess brings her feminine energies to guide us lovingly to the next stage of our life. She presents herself as a guide to those of us willing to venture deep within our higher selves to discover the true powers of transformation and enlightenment that we all posses.

We may not have all the answers, but in moving forward and welcoming the changes our lives bring,

we may find the peace, happiness and unity we seek along the way.

May this year bring us peace, happiness, family harmony, much love and abundance in all forms!

When The World card is pulled, Everything is at your command!!  Watch the woman wave her wands in the center of her world, controlling the animal kingdom, man and the universe above, below and all around her!  She has interwoven her deepest desires around all that she knows and has tied it together with the heavens and the earth at her command.  What have you been wanting?  Are you acting on it?  Are you manifesting all that you desire?  This card depicts that YOU have the controls, but you must utilize them and not allow them to stay dormant!  You are divinely guided as to how to proceed and the world will bend to your wishes.  Cycles will end and new ones begin!  It is a prosperous time, take advantage of it and make your mark!  Make sure you know what you want – you just might get it this month!!!   Surprises are also the forefront and the Christmas Holiday is just around the corner!  What will you be getting this year?!! One Journey may be over, but a new one is just beginning, and you’re ready for the next step.

The World is your Oyster!  Promotions, beginning of a new cycle, mastering all that you have achieved and beginning in a new and more confident position are all marked by this card!  Enjoy all it brings, for it bring happiness and achievements!

The 7 of Cups brings opportunities where you least expect them. Female energies, rebirth, fruitfulness, abundance, creativity and riches are all coming as gifts for you!  Don’t be stingy with them, when you are given spiritual gifts, they are to be shared with others.  You don’t need to know who or why, you just need to share your good fortune.  The answers will reveal themselves by the end of the month.  These are gifts from the divine, and could be a test for you.  You may be asked to make a decison on something that has been lingering, and you will now be able to decide with confidence. Something you have been waiting for will finally come to fruition as this card brings good fortune to you as well.

Smile at the outcome, and do not search too deeply for its source.  Keep your expectations high as well as your character.

Remember, you don’t need to know everything just yet.  Just stick to your path, honor your higher self

and your answers will be revealed.  Trust in the Divine for guidance and listen for their messages. 

Your path will be revealed in the quiet times.  And success will be yours when you make decisions for the right reasons.

  After all the false starts you experienced previously.  This time its for real.  New things are being offered to you from the divine.  They are there for the taking, you only need to acknowledge them and accept them when they arrive.  Pay attention to the signs you receive and move in the direction of your dreams.  What you start now will have successful implications!  Make your dreams come true and put the past behind you.

Peace, contentment, good health and abundance will be yours.  Old issues will be just that – old issues.  They are now just part of your past history.  Look to the skies when you need confirmation then move toward your dreams with confidence.  Your Guides will light your way.  You have all the skills that you need, you just need to move forward now.

THE PROGRAM: On Saturday , September 11th, 2010, an American flag should be displayed outside every home, apartment, office, and store in the United States . Every individual should make it their duty to display an American flag on this ninth anniversary of one our country’s worst tragedies. We do this honor of those who lost their lives on 9/11, their families, friends and loved ones who continue to endure the pain, and those who today are fighting at home and abroad to preserve our cherished freedoms. In the days, weeks and months following 9/11, our country was bathed in American flags as citizens mourned the incredible losses and stood shoulder-to-shoulder against terrorism. Sadly, those flags have all but disappeared. Our patriotism pulled us through some tough times and it shouldn’t take another attack to galvanize us in solidarity. Our American flag is the fabric of our country and together we can prevail over terrorism of all kinds. Action Plan: So, here’s what we need you to do … (1) Take a moment to think back to how you felt on 9/11 and let those sentiments guide you. (2) Fly an American flag of any size on 9/11. Honestly, Americans should fly the flag year-round, but if you don’t, then at least make it a priority on this day. Thank you for your participation. God Bless You and God Bless America !!!

New business ventures are the theme this month as the 2 of Wands brings its focus and determination to each of us.

The King of Wands is very powerful and full of pure fire energy (as you can see from his crown, cuffs and garment around his neck).  Lions and salamanders adorn his throne and robe which also represent fire energy so this King is full of passion and purpose.  Salamanders are able to live through fire and regenerate themselves. And the wand represents the continual renewal of life. You may feel as though you’ve gone through the fire and even gotten burned, but this month, the King lends his power to regenerate your life, solve problems and introduce passion back into your life. 

This king helps you to get the job done and is happy to do so!

If your life needs more passion and purpose, the King is here to awaken those traits in you and he is happy to lead the way. When one is overworked or overburdened it is hard to give affection to others so       nurture yourself and you will have the strength to bring happiness to others.

Always think of your accomplishments and be grateful for them. Keep good healthy habits for your mind as well as your body.

Remember you must give affection to receive it.
